Q: What should I get to improve my jawline, neck and face? I was thinking neck lift, cheek implants and fat transfer. (photos)

By looking at the photos you shared, I definitely think you are a great candidate for a face and neck lift with platysmaplasty as well as smart lipo of the jowls and and jawline. Fat transfer can be used for marionette lines although I prefer a thinner substance such a a hyaluronic acid based filler. Only downside to filler is you have to upkeep it. Fat transfer to the lips isn't something I recommend either. I really love utilizing the same acid based filler for the lips.

Q: When can I wear makeup over chin Laser Liposuction scars?Answered by Dr. RodriguezMarch 20, 2019A: I definitely do not recommend wearing makeup that soon after chin liposuction. Typically sutures will stay in for about 7 days and at that point, you would be able to conceal them, but should really try and stay away from any harsh chemicals or makeup for at least 2 weeks in that area. Best of luck!Q: Input please, regarding IPL treatment a week before face and neck lift.Answered by Dr. RodriguezMarch 20, 2019A: I recommend cancelling the IPL treatment prior to your surgery. You can reschedule for sometime 6 to 8 weeks after your facelift. Although an IPL is noninvasive and superficial, it may cause swelling which could interfere with your surgical results. Best of luck!Q: How long after upper eye blepharoplasty can you use Latisse?Answered by Dr. RodriguezMarch 20, 2019A: I recommend that you do not begin using Latisse until about 6 weeks post surgery. A: Thank you for sharing a photo. Unfortunately, the only filler you can really use that would be longer lasting would be your own body's fat (fat transfer) to the face. Fillers are great but the longevity of them is anywhere around 12 to 18 months and certain individuals bodies will metabolize it even quicker. You could benefit from a substantial amount of filler to do what is called a "liquid facelift," but obviously this can be costly. There are only certain areas of the face that fat transfer will actually work as the fat from ones body is clearly a thicker substance than synthetic fillers.
